About University of the Fraser Valley
The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university in British Columbia, Canada, with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope. Established in 1974 and granted university status in 2008, UFV serves over 15,000 students each year. It offers more than 100 programs, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees, diplomas, and trades training. UFV is known for small class sizes, practical learning, and community involvement, giving students strong hands-on experience through co-ops and applied research.
